The European Le Mans Series features six 4-hour races on the best European tracks (Le Castellet, Monza, Silverstone, Red Bull Ring, Spa-Francorchamps, Portimão) for three categories LMP2, LMP3 and LMGTE.

Team spirit together with long distance performance, as embodied by the 24 Heures du Mans, is the credo of the ELMS. The champions will be offered a place on the grid of the 24 Heures du Mans, which gives an extra, important dimension to the title race across the categories.
