Blog: Goodwood Festival of Speed 2024
A few weeks ago, we went to the Goodwood Festival of Speed with our buddy Luke from 412 Automotive. And we lucked out by going on the Sunday as it turned out to be an absolute stunner with glorious sunshine. It was our first time experiencing the festival, and it was well worth the visit. The sheer number of prestige and special race cars, road cars, prototypes, and everything in between was mind-blowing.
We had the privilege of watching F1 cars, Le Mans cars, rally cars, and supercars all tearing up the hill. It was an incredible sight to behold, especially when we heard the nostalgic screams of those old F1 V10 and V8 engines. Man, we really miss those sounds! It’s no wonder this event attracts so much attention. There’s just so much happening that we highly recommend dedicating at least two days to enjoy it fully. Unfortunately, we made the rookie mistake of trying to squeeze everything into just one day… and let’s just say it didn’t go as planned. Lesson learned! Next year, we’re already planning a two-day trip to soak in the whole experience.
