British based Zytek Motorsport, announced today at Le Mans, the launch of its new LMP2 Zytek Coupe project for 2016. Zytek released renders of its new Le Mans Prototype, which will replace the very successful Zytek Z11SN in the LMP2 class. The new car will be built to the LMP2 cost cap regulations along with a LMP1 compliant tub which will accept a variety of LMP2 engines. Not a lot more is known about the project as of yet, except they are aiming to have the car out on track testing during 2015 with a race debut in 2016. Hopefully more information will become available soon, and we look forward to seeing the car on track next year.
