Over the bank holiday weekend just past, we with Luke of Junsport headed over to the tight and twisty Cadwell Park to witness the start of the UK Time Attack 2019 season. The event runs over a single day with the main event happening in the afternoon. The main reason for going to the first event was to scope out the new for this season. Run what you Brung, the class where anyone can enter can compete, for minimal costs. The idea is maybe putting the Mini in for an event later in the year. But we will talk about that another time.
So far this year’s biggest draw in the UK Time Attack scene is The Bentley Continental GT3 that has been entered. Let’s just say watching that thing tramp around Cadwell is a sight to be seen, it looks so far out of place due to its size. There does seem to be some missing cars though this year, but it is sounding like more will be joining at the next round. For certain Lohen with there R56 Mini Challenge car will be back. Plus hopefully the BMW M3 from last year, this time with added aero.
For now, check out the small gallery, and we should be catching up with Time Attack later in the year.
